Polk’s Folly Farm Butcher Shop & Farm Stand is such a great spot. They have a ton of awesome organic, raw foods and quality ingredients that make it easy to choose healthier options. Everything looked fresh and well sourced. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the prices were really good for the quality. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone wanting cleaner, healthier food choices.
Don’t buy the leaf lard for Biscochitos unless you want to have the softest most delicious Biscochitos you’ve made. I tried to use store bought lard for the comparison of the 2 and I can never go back to store bought! It’s a bit of a drive for me but definitely worth it. I also purchased green chile lamb sausage and the raw milk and my husband really enjoyed both.
Amazing gem of a place. I love coming here to pick up some high quality local essentials, fresh baked bread, or other goodies. I’m so happy we have a shop like this in the east mountains!
