Came across DP Martial Arts as it was close to where we lived & I had heard good things. Immediately upon arrival it's easy to see these claims were true. All of the professionals working there are obvious masters of their craft & more importantly, as well as my case specifically, work incredibly well with kids. My son came in as absolute beginner and within a few quick weeks was fully engaged and loving classes. 3 years later he has a wall of belts, a ton of confidence, learned life lessons, made new friends (from out of town) and has the ability to defend himself or others if needed. If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve felt the stress so common to consuming social media. It can make you feel sedentary, helpless, aimless, and even lonely. The remedy is to join DP Martial Arts Academy. You are given the opportunity to be active, given direction, and included as part of a community of friendly individuals and instructors who are disciplined in their craft.
Wonderfully community friendly. Supportive of their students, no matter the age, and they encourage learning, practicing and mastering at every skill level. On the day I wrote this review, I made steps to learn the rest of a form they taught me on my own, and when we rehearsed, they quickly helped me get it down without placing fault on me.They also host a number of after school and community events, mostly for children, and are very motivated to give that same kind of energy to helping them learn and become better.
