i went here for the first time to test a salon for my senior pictures and got a silk press. melissa (owner/stylist) was very sweet and friendly! i actually had to move my appointment up by 30 minutes due to traffic, so i called ahead and she moved it up with no problem at all. she was able to do my silk press in under an hour (which is very impressive!!) and it turned out exactly the way i wanted. prices are super reasonable too. i will definitely be returning for senior pictures!

Had initially booked with Melissa and had to adjust my appointment time, but instead of stating that her schedule was too tight in a professional manner, she was very rude. She also did not make any suggestions or even try to accommodate me. I called Hello Gorgeous in Deptford and the lady over there also had a tight schedule, but she wasn't rude. She ended up working with me to squeeze me in (I washed my hair before the appointment so there would be enough time to just style me).

Melissa the owner and head stylist did a full set of microlink hair extensions on me. As well as the extension installation Melissa ordered and died the hair for me as well because I wanted black to gray ombre. The whole process and experience was everything I could ask for. Everything was clean organized and professional but I also felt extremely comfortable at the same time. I definitely give Melissa and her entire salon a 10 out of 10. She even helped me work out the cost and how to go about the process in the most affordable way for me!! Hair stylist Melissa wasn't all that friendly. She gave me a really nice cute, curly cut but she gave me a little trouble about it. She asked me what I wanted and I described to her I just want a cute short cut. Showed her a picture of a previous cut.. very simple and nice because my hair's too thick. I said just take a little off and give me a good shaping. Done. Easy. I am not picky with my hair. She wasn't really happy with that answer but I'm no hair stylist. It was kind of awkward. She wasn't very nice. And at the end I really did like the cut she gave me but the customer service skills were non existent. No doubt about it she's been cutting hair for a very long time and has great experience, but she needs to know how to be kind to customers. At the end of the cut I asked her if she had a card because it's hard to find a stylist who knows how to cut my hair and I was going to overlook her abrasive demeanor and come back. She said and I quote "well didn't you book online why do you need a card?" Very strange.. I mean jeez I just like to have my hair stylist card in my wallet! Then she preceded to tell me "next time you need to tell your stylist how you want your hair exactly. You don't want triangle head and that's what you came in with So make sure you tell them specifics." I completely understand what she was saying but it was how she was saying it It was rude and offensive. Very bizarre for a hair stylist to have zero customer service skills. Thanks for the cut...But I don't think I'll be back.

Awesome Salon ! Melissa is the owner and master stylist ! She did an amazing job installing my weave and adding highlights! She is easy going and I enjoyed my experience! This salon follows all Covid 19 standards and regulations !
