Great prior to my surgery but the after care and staff are horrible. A month later and I'm still waiting for them to submit my MRI for approval to insurance company. Went for a check up after my surgery and was examined by the doctor in the waiting room. I do not recommend

Dr. Tamir Tawfik is truly in a league of his own. After years of debilitating migraines, I had seen countless neurologists for my migraines with no answers, many blamed it on ocular issues or eye sensitivity. Then years of unexplained shooting pain from my shoulder, which eventually went down to my hands. I happened to meet Dr. Tawfik at an informal event, and after briefly describing my symptoms, he immediately suspected an issue at my C5/C6 level and recommended an MRI. Sure enough, the scan revealed three herniated discs, with one collapsed at C5/C6. His accuracy just from mentioning my symptoms was pretty amazing, and I knew I found the right doctor.
From the beginning, Dr. Tawfik did everything possible to avoid surgery. He recommended physical therapy with traction first, but unfortunately, that didn’t provide relief after weeks/months and sometimes made my pain worse. Unfortunately, the facility I visited was unable to put me on their traction machine due to bone curvature near the collapsed disc… When PT didn’t help, he suggested a nerve injection, which brought temporary relief which only lasted days, but he never rushed into surgery. When we finally did proceed with disc replacement (not fusion, so I could maintain full mobility), it was life-changing.
Today, my nerve pain is completely gone and unbelievably, so are my migraines. The care Dr. Tawfik gave me has been nothing short of transformative. Even the surgical scar is barely noticeable, it honestly looks like it was done by a plastic surgeon. I’m beyond grateful to be pain-free and would recommend Dr. Tawfik to anyone seeking a compassionate, skilled, and incredibly insightful neurosurgeon.

I Highly recommended dr tawfik if it wasn’t for him, i would not be enjoying my life right now. I was involved in a car accident and was at a moment were all hope was lost! I was 27 years old needing a l4 l5 s1 fusion. After my surgery my life changed completely i was able to walk pain free , loose 50+ lbs on my own & elevate my career. 3 years have gone by & I cant thank him enough for changing my life for the better.

Two years ago i got rear ended in car and was having problems with my neck . On January 31 Dr.Tawfik performed ACDF surgery i feel way better now. Before the surgery i was having neck pains and sensation feelings in my arm . His team of people are great as well Amanda the surgery coordinator checked on me often . I recommend any one with neck or back problems to doctor Tawfik your in good hands his main goal is to relieve you from any pain your having i felt better soon as surgery was over

The best doctor ever , I did 2 discs neck replacement. All my pain disappeared after 1 hour from surgery, now after 3 weeks I feel much better and my back pain gone . I recommend this doctor for everyone have spine problems. Thanks doctor tamir .
