I took my sweet girl Roxie to The Pretty Paw Grooming and Day Spa for her very first grooming session today, and I can honestly say it was a game-changer! As a first-time customer, I was a bit nervous about how she’d handle it, Roxie can be a wiggle-worm with new people but the team there made it all so seamless and stress-free. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was welcoming and luxurious, like a true day spa for pups. They operate completely cage-free, which I love because it means one-on-one attention for every dog, no assembly-line feel. The groomers were incredibly patient and gentle with Roxie, chatting with me about her quirky personality and tailoring the service to her needs. They gave her a full bath with natural, organic products that left her fur silky soft. The cut? Perfection! They trimmed her paws just right and fluffed up her coat beautifully. I’m beyond pleased with the entire experience and will definitely be back! 🐶✨

He reassured me that, with his experience caring for five dogs, he understands how they can be sometimes with a nail trim. My dog, Dublin, is anxious due to a previous bad grooming experience and is a working dog in training for service, so I was especially nervous. I asked only if we could do a nail trim to get her started on the right paw and make it simple. When we arrived, we met Emma - and from there, the experience was incredible. She was so kind and compassionate with Dublin during the nail trim. Dublin was nervous at first, but Emma was patient, gentle, and attentive, and she handled the situation perfectly. She allowed Dublin to climb into my lap for comfort while still completing the nail trim calmly and safely. She even got down on the floor and met Dublin where she was at rather than rushing the experience or trying to whisk her away. By the end, Dublin was relaxed, happy to greet Emma again with a small sniff, and even excited to meet another dog in the shop before we left. I left feeling grateful and confident that I’d found a groomer who truly understands and cares about anxious dogs. I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for a calm, professional, and compassionate experience for their dog. Emma went above and beyond for Dublin- and I know Dublin will be even better about it next time. The shop was also clean, adorable, and well maintained!
Took my pup for a nail trim yesterday - a pup who is anxious, hates his nails trimmed and usually was given meds to calm him down at the vet….. Thanks to Jaqui and Alexis’s kindness and comforting.. he isn’t that dog anymore! He even got an “incredible” review and is welcome back anytime 😎 I am sooo glad I have found people I can trust - will absolutely be bringing him back for future services ! Highly recommend Jaqui, but honestly I don’t think you can go wrong with anyone at the salon
