Our family has trusted Vander Plaat for generations. They have always been there for us through our most difficult of times, and have cared for us with unmatched compassion and kindness. Their expertise is unparalleled, and they will avail you of the time and space to mourn as they handle all of the technicalities behind the scenes. I could not imagine being in the care of anybody other than the team at Vander Plaat after the passing of a loved one.
My Mom passed on Feb.4,2024 at home. Vander Plaat is our local Funeral home. From the minute she was picked up to the end at the cemetery, Vander Plaat was respectful of our feelings and made the whole process for me bearable under the circumstanses. Alexander was very informative and helpful to keep my budget in mind. Budget should be the last thing to think about after the loose of my Mom but it is definitely a reality. Very professional, detail oriented caring people. Looped pictures of my Mom at various stages of life with music we picked out in the background. It was beautiful. Helped my family get through a very difficult time.
