We were buying an expensive old house with lots of competition, this was a difficult buy . . . . . this is when you need a good realtor. The ask was too high, even though we wanted the house, we stuck to what we deemed as a good offer and we got the chance to buy it. Many challenges occurred thereafter with home inspection, mortgage and the appraisal that we almost lost the opportunity.
