I’ve been seeing Dr. Lucas at the Acupuncture Center of NJ in Morristown since around February, and he is an incredibly talented acupuncturist with a deep understanding of both his craft and Chinese Medicine.
I train very intensely and frequently, especially with Olympic ring work, so my body is constantly under load. My scapula is almost always tight due to the demands I place on it, and every time I go in, Dr. Lucas is able to help my muscles unwind in a way that nothing else has been able to match. Between the acupuncture, cupping, and herbal support, I consistently leave feeling like my body is running smoother, lighter, and more aligned.
I also had a liver injury last year that lingered for months, and his treatments played a major role in helping me recover and restore my health. My very first session was genuinely life-changing and set the tone for everything that followed.
I recommend this clinic to everyone I know. It’s an incredible place to realign your body, calm your nervous system, and reset from the inside out. Acupuncture is one of those things I truly cannot live without, holds so much traditional knowledge passed down from centuries, and really can help your body in ways you may not expect. I worked last summer in the field at a different office and learned so much about the body - I've seen every kind of person come in and it change them. I'm no different!!! Dr. Peter is a miracle worker. He helped my mom in one visit years ago with her sciatica and decades later he helped me too. I couldn’t even walk. Within two sessions I was 90% better. I am so grateful to him. I have hip pain he is helping with too and I am seeing improvement. I want to avoid surgical intervention and I have confidence he will be able to help me do that. Thank you, Dr. Peter!! Bonus: he has a very calming, zen like demeanor. I’ve worked with doctors my entire career and his bed side manner / patient approach is beyond reproach. Especially if you’re in pain and already at your wits end. As for his staff: everyone is respectful, kind and wonderful - they go the extra mile to be helpful.
