I’ve been going here for years and never had a bad cut. Admittedly, I never really know what I want so I’m probably not the best client, But they do a great job of figuring out what looks good and natural. I’ve gone to at least four barbers here and they all do a fantastic job.
The best place to get your haircut in Jersey City. I used to live in Jersey but moved away, and I still make the trip back just to get my haircut here. It’s hard to find someone who knows how to cut straight, Asian-like hair. I highly recommend Jesse — you won’t be disappointed.
About 2 years after getting the best haircut I've ever gotten courtesy of Luca at Markdaniel, I had to come back to see Luca for a pre-wedding cut. After rotating through many shops closer to me, I've yet to find a spot with better hospitality, conversation, or quality of service, even considering the more premium pricepoint. Markdaniel is unequivocally the best barbershop I've visited and I'd highly recommend--especially Luca--to anyone looking for a superior barbershop experience.
