Vickie is excellent!!! I decided to go to Jade and Cinnabar due to TMJ difficulties and immediately I noticed an improvement in my jaw range of motion and pain. After about 2 months of sessions, my TMJ is no longer an interference in my everyday life. Vickie is truly an expert, having a deep knowledge in acupuncture, TMJ treatment, women's health and everything in between. I highly recommend Jade and Cinnabar. I have been seeing Vickie for almost 4 years now. I started acupuncture because of Menstrual Symptoms and Stress management. I had been suffering from shoulder pain for over a year. I went for MRIs, and was given medication and nothing was helping. I was told I wasn't a candidate for surgery. I was ready to try an alternative approach. I contacted Vicky at Jade and Cinnabar and she rearranged her schedule to get me in right away. Within 2 treatments, I felt noticeable relief and 2 months later, I can say I'm pain-free. During that time, I fell and injured my ankle and foot. I called Vicky immediately, and she started me on a treatment regimen in conjunction with my orthopedic doctor. I began looking around for relief from my neck pain. It went from bad to worse where I was in such extreme pain that I knew I needed something other than drugs. I chose Vicky because she was also knowledgeable in Oriental medicine. I was a mess. Besides my neck I had digestion issues. I was scared because like all of us putting a bunch of needles into your body does not sound appealing. However, pain makes you try anything. I went to see Vicky and almost immediately my pain subsided. I was extremely stressed and I had incredible pain in my legs and I also started getting arthritis in my hands. Little by little all my aches and pain went away. Even the arthritic hands are better. But no neck pain or leg pain. Vicky is a wonderful, kind and mellow person. Just coming into her office makes me feel calm. She is so knowledgeable and always asks how she can help me and if there is anything new that needs her attention. I’m hooked!!! I look forward to coming and spending time with Vicky. She has become a friend. I cannot compare this practice to others but I would never switch. I experienced stress and anxiety, and looking back on it, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. Being the healthy person that I am, I wanted to find a healthy means to help myself during this scary time. I constantly felt "sick" from the stress, and didn't have the energy to run, my stress reliever. After researching, I found Jade & Cinnabar Acupuncture and VICKY! Speaking to Vicky for the 1st time on the phone, cramming in my life story to her, I immediately felt at ease.
