Dr. Tatyana Andrews

After previous pregnancies that didn’t work out, I was very anxious. I started seeing Dr. Andrews during my fifth pregnancy, and the experience was completely different.

She was thorough, attentive, and careful with my treatment plan. I felt supported and well-monitored the entire time. I truly believe her approach helped me have a successful pregnancy, and I’m very thankful for her care.

I found Dr. Tatyana almost by accident. When I became pregnant, the hospital near me took a long time to respond, and my first screening was coming up fast. The doctor we planned to see kept not calling back, so my husband started looking for someone else and came across Dr. Tatyana’s number.

Her office responded incredibly quickly. Even though there weren’t many openings, they still fit me in the very next day to get labs done and schedule my first screening, since timing was already tight.

I have never regretted choosing Dr. Tatyana. She has an amazing team and truly kind nurses. A special thank you to Galina, and to the young woman who draws blood everything is always gentle, calm, and professional.

Dr. Tatyana is compassionate, attentive, and genuinely warm. She has such a positive, reassuring presence that you immediately feel you are in good hands. She always takes time to answer questions and never makes you feel rushed.

Delivering with Dr. Tatyana was its own kind of art. These were my first labor and delivery experiences, and I was very nervous, but she coached me through every step, helped me during pushing, and even brought some light humor into the room. Thanks to her support and confidence, my daughter was born smoothly and fairly quickly, without any tears or complications.

I had an appointment scheduled for 10am today. Got text confirmations for 10am. Arrived at 9:50am to complete any needed forms and be ready for my 10am appointment. 9:50am, door was closed, website said they open at 10. I waited, door was still closed. I called the office multiple times, left a vm, no answer. 10:15 I got into my car because it was cold outside. 10:20, pulling out of the parking lot I saw the midwife pulling into the lot. I asked if she works there and she said yes and that appointments don’t start until 10:30am. Why was I scheduled for 10 then? Midwife didn’t have keys to get into the office either. I went home and got a call from the office at 10:30 apologizing for the delayed opening. I asked if they could accommodate another appointment at the same location and was told that they were really busy and that they could not accommodate the next day the doctor was in the office. Way to lose a patient. Your mistake and no attempt to perform any type of service recovery. Shame.

I'm glad I have a doctor like Dr. Tatyana Andrews. And the staff is very good.

For more than eight years Dr. Andrews is my doctor. She had led two of my pregnancies and I can definitely say that she is incredible, experienced, professional, compassionate, responsive! I am so happy I chose Dr. Andrews as my OB for my first pregnancy. She is excellent in her field and takes her time to listen to you and any concerns you may have. I was a nervous first time mom, and she made me feel right at ease. Her staff is also very knowledgeable and kind. They will go out of their way to help their patients in any way they can. My baby girl and I feel so blessed to have had them taking care of us during my pregnancy. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Andrews to any woman seeking care.

What was most troubling about the office’s response is the attempt to speak over and invalidate my experience by labeling it as “false” and expressing disappointment in my dissatisfaction. A medical office does not get to redefine what a patient experienced, nor dismiss concerns after the fact that were raised repeatedly during care.

At no point during my prenatal visits was I asked how I was feeling or if I had questions. Concerns I raised were routinely brushed off as “normal,” without reassurance, explanation, or guidance. My birth plan was not discussed collaboratively, nor were risks and benefits reviewed with me it was dismissed rather than respected.

Regarding medications, I was prescribed a medication that was not for me and appeared in my patient portal. When I contacted the office, I was told they did not know what I was referring to and that they would look into it. I never received a follow-up call. When I called again a week later and pointed out that it was clearly visible in my portal, I was told to simply “disregard it,” with no explanation. They said they don’t know why you prescribed that and to just ignore it. To me this is a huge red flag had I taken a prescription that wasn’t intended to be mine and the lack of attention to detail made it hard for me to trust what my birthing process would look like.

There were also multiple instances where I was told prescriptions had been refilled, only for my pharmacy to confirm nothing had been sent, requiring repeated calls to resolve. At my final appointment, a prescription that was discussed was never sent at all and also not recorded in my appointment notes.

Communication was consistently difficult. The front desk staff also handled medical assistant duties, which often meant phones went unanswered and messages were not returned.

At our last visit you had a 2nd party in our room to supervise our visit and conversation never once asking me what my experience was like, what you could do to improve or what are the reasons that I wanted to move to another practitioner. Your office had an opportunity to do that but did not

This review is not about office policies, it is about how care was experienced. Patients are allowed to share their experiences, even when an office disagrees with them. We shared this so other families can make informed decisions.

Dr. Andrews delivered three beautiful baby boys for me over the past four years . Even though each pregnancy and delivery is different, Dr. Andrews helped me navigate them with calmness and compassion. She is the calm in the storm of a delivery. On top of it, the office staff is kind and respectful Greeting you with a smile at every appointment.
