I visited NJ and wanted some box braids. I had a discussion about want I wanted and showed a pic. They did my hair just perfect. It wasn't too tight. I did pay before my hair was completed but they know what they are doing. less than 3 hours...highly recommend getting your hair done at TATA'S

Terrible they charge to much and don’t know how to schedule appointments they buy stuff from the fiends and she always got her kids her sleeping on the floor

They're going to make you pay up front. Understand that at that moment your hair is going to be chopped. How hard is 6 straight backs? That's braiding 101 yet it took over 3 hours and $80. This chick was eating a whole meal while braiding my daughters hair. Parts uneven. Braids different sizes, and she was rude. She didn't add enough hair so the braids look hungey asl. DO NOT GO HERE!

I love the braiding place they do box braids really good,you have to go in the morning tho because they mad busy and also if your very tender head I advice u not to go because there braids hurt afterwards but other than that loveee them

Got my hair braided 4days ago and already have a bald spot and my scalp is really red with sores and I called the woman for a refund and I was not able to get a refund I didn’t fuss about it I just took the $200.00 lost but I would say get your hair braided here cause they do do hair very nice but just way too tight !!Service: Box Braids

*FULL HONEST REVIEWI’m a last minute person and prefer places like this because they’re usually fast and will do anyone’s hair. But if you’re looking for professionalism, this is not the place.For 1, they do NOT pick up the phone at all. I’ve called maybe 5 times on different days and not once has someone picked up or called me back. I guess because they’re extremely busy during these summer months they don’t care about inquiring potential customers.2 bring headphones, because they not only talk non stop to eachother and loud but when they are not talking to each other they are on the phone. And loud.3 they tell everyone to come in and wait or come back and don’t write your name down so when you come back it’s not guaranteed that you will be serviced which is extremely inconvenient especially if you’re pressed for time or not local.So I went there for knotless braids and there were two braiders. Braider #1 told me she’d be done in an hour to come back. I came back in 50 minutes to find that she still had about 40 minutes to go. I’m like whatever I’m here I just want this over with. I saw another female waiting to get her hair done so I assumed she was waiting for braider #2 since we are both getting medium knot less.. so at 4, another client walks in and asked if they could do her hair and braider #2 told her yes and to come back in 30 minutes. So I look at the waiting client and ask who she was there for because this doesn’t make any sense why they would take a walk-in when two people are waiting for a 5-6 hour service when it’s almost 4pm at this time and we find out that we both are there for #1. So after waiting for more than an hour #1 tells me she wants to see my hair to see if she can do it. She looks at it and tells me it’s too short and that she’s “sorry but can’t help me” I was LIVID and basically waited around for 2 hours to be turned down . She tells me to wait for another lady to “see” IF she can do it. I’m like whatever and call my ride. The other lady ended up being the owner and she said no problem she would do it. Well I’m SO glad the braider #1 didn’t do it because I couldn’t be happier with my hair. The lady who did my hair happens to be the owner named Miriam and she is so fast and talented. She took 5 hours to do schmedium (small/medium) waist length knot less. And yes I do have short hair currently after a big chop and she picked up everything. I literally couldn’t be happier. So yes if you want knotless go in and schedule an appointment with Miriam, the owner that’s it.Service: Hair extensions
