Hank was brought in for a surgery and the staff was very nice and was very informative and very helpful throughout the whole process. If I had any questions or concerns I got an answer immediately. Thank you all at VECC

I am so very grateful for the excellent care my dog received tonight at VECC. They were kind and compassionate, thorough and efficient. They took him in right away and did radiographs, we had a diagnosis and a treatment plan within an hour. I also work at a veterinary hospital and have high standards and expectations of quality veterinary care. VECC exceeded my expectations. I have always recommended VECC for our clients in need of emergency care and I will definitely continue to do so.

I brought my girl Gabby here just over a week ago. The staff here was so kind, compassionate, funny, and flexible. They got her right in for vitals and such even though they were already working on some other pets. They were honest about pricing and recommendations. Weβve been here with each one of our pets and each time the staff just gets better and kinder. Thank you for all you do! π€

Our experience at VECC was initially positive but ultimately disappointing. We came to VECC after leaving another emergency clinic where Snow did not receive appropriate care. During the early morning hours, the female veterinarian who initially received us demonstrated responsibility and professionalism. She explained that Snow needed to be hospitalized to receive IV medications and undergo further diagnostic testing, which gave us confidence at that time. However, when we returned later that day to pick Snow up for discharge, the experience was disappointing. A different female veterinarian was on duty and told us that Snow was doing very well and was ready to go home. While still at the clinic, it was clear to us that Snow was not well. She remained apathetic, lethargic, and was drooling excessively. When we expressed our concerns and pointed out that she did not appear normal, we were told that she was fine, that her behavior was due to the hospital environment, and that she was not in pain. Despite this, we insisted on pain medication to take home, as her condition was visibly concerning. We were given gabapentin, a medication that is not appropriate or effective for Snowβs clinical situation. While we appreciated the professionalism shown during the initial hospitalization, the discharge assessment and dismissal of our concerns were deeply frustrating and concerning. Due to her ongoing condition, we had to immediately seek another emergency clinic, where Snow remains hospitalized.

Twenty years of extraordinary care!!! My Ragdoll (one sadly passed) is cared for with exceptional medical expertise and a sincere desire to help her. The excellent surgical team has saved her life!!! She had a complex surgery and was completely cured. VECC was extremely compassionate when my beloved cat (Ava) needed to pass. Now, my 18 year-old (Violet) is at the clinic, & I just got a call saying theyβve stabilized her! Always another miracle with VECC. I love them! π I am so grateful that my Cats are treated with such respect and dignity. I am treated that way too. Everyone is outstandingly qualified and incredibly passionate about helping animals and their guardians. I just adore the clinic. A βSpecialβ Thank you to Liz!!! You have helped immensely!!!! Violet is much better!!!!

We had to take our puppy to the emergency vet for an unknown condition. We were told it would be a 6 hour wait. Thats absolutely ridiculous. We were told there was only one vet working. Ok call another one in then If itβs that busy, Iβm sure they have vets on call. They are there for emergencies. 6 hour wait, do better not only for my pup but for others who have to suffer like my dog did. 1 vet on a Saturday is not acceptable. I would give zero stars if I could. Avoid this place at all costs.

Great experience at VECC could not recommend enough, our dog had to have a tumor removed and they took great care of him and checked in after to make sure he was healing properly. Super responsive and informative.

Regardless of what they tell you on the phone at 11 PM, they cannot see a pet goose. Get a second opinion before you drive all the way out there.
