I'm not sure what sone some of the reviewers here are expecting but I have no issues with Fitlab Milford. I'm here 4-5 days a week and look forward to the time I can spend working out. Usually best part of my day. There is enough equipment to get something done even at the busiest times. Staff is friendly and helpful. Other benefit is the other Fitlab gyms in the area to get some variety.
John C: I have trouble believing you would not understand the maintenance fee structure imposed by almost all gyms in business today. Planet Fitness, Golds, 24 Hour Fitness, Balieh's, FitWorks, etc. all charge a structured yearly fee over and above the monthtly fee. Secondly, if the paperwork you filled out was completed on company forms, then it rightly IS the property of the company, and not yours to "retrieve." Thirdly, you should always read the fine print on ANY offer. Gyms have multiple offers that can change frequently (sometimes daily) and the gym's sales staff cannot reasonably be expected to have all the details of every offer on any given day. That is for you, as an informed consumer, to investigate, and for the managment to disseminate the information appropriately to its staff. If you find that the management has not done its job, then you have cause to complain. However, this is simply a case of the consumer not reading (or perhaps not understanding?) the offer. I have been a member of this gym for ages and find it always clean, never "smelly" as one reviewer states, and further find that the staff is very courteous, knowledgeable and helpful, especially Mr. Pettus. Tho, I have had a problem on occassion with one manager who is no longer employed by the company. Lastly: I'm just wondering why you'd want to join a gym in NH when your profile lists you as living in Mass?
