Extremely disappointed after years of being a loyal customer.
I’ve used Maid Brigade of Raleigh for about three years. They’ve generally been satisfactory — a few things missed here and there, but nothing terrible, and their prices were fair. However, my most recent experience was appalling.
I paid $410 for what was supposed to be a deep clean, but when I returned home, it was clearly not done properly. There was visible dust on furniture, uncleaned mirrors, a dirty toilet, and dust bunnies throughout the floors. I took photos and sent them to Victor, who manages or owns the location. He was polite, apologetic, and arranged for a free re-clean, which I appreciated.
When the re-clean team arrived, I explained that we had just moved back in after home renovations, so there were still boxes and piles around. One of the ladies walked up to me and said, “should we skip the bathtub?” I told her yes and explained the situation and apologized for the mess with the boxes and piles. She then said to me, “i just don’t want you to complain again. You always complain. I told my manager this morning ‘no don’t send me to that house! She’s the complaining house!’”
I was speechless. I have never been spoken to that way by any service provider. I immediately called Victor, who was equally horrified, and I told him to cancel all future cleanings. I then had to personally ask the team to leave my home after they ignored his call.
This was beyond unprofessional — it was rude and unacceptable. While Victor was kind and tried to make things right, it’s clear that serious issues exist with training, professionalism, and respect for customers.
After three years of loyalty, I will not be using Maid Brigade again. I’ve attached photos to a Google review so others can see for themselves how poorly the “deep clean” was done before this interaction even occurred. Hopefully this helps people make an informed decision before booking.

My husband paid for a “deep cleaning” of our home to be done - a service for which we were quoted nearly $300. First, the team was over an hour late to their quoted arrival time. We understand that traffic happens, but we had to text and call to find out where they were. That alone is understandable however, when we arrived home the cleaning was mediocre at best. There were piles of dust and dog hair under the couch and shelves. It looked like they hadn’t even bothered to mop under the couch. The couch itself looked untouched as well. The kitchen counters still had bits of food and it looked as if nothing on the counters had been moved. The baseboards weren’t dusted and there were still cobwebs on the ceilings. Had we paid for a standard cleaning, these missed details might be acceptable. I’m not sure if they were rushed for time due to being late, but for a “deep cleaning” they really missed the mark. We will not be utilizing their services again.

In the past, the same team would come to my condo thus resulting in continuity. Now it seems every month a different team is assigned to my account.
When the team visited my condo on 9/18/24, they did an excellent job! I was very pleased.
