Attorneys have been on the butt end of jokes for decades. Many firms have the reputation of being ambulance chasers and everyone I know seems to hate attorneys, until they need one... For those of you who have been in a wreck and been injured, you know that within days after the filing of the accident report, you are swamped with about 20 pounds of mail... flyers and booklets from attorneys all wanting to grab their share of the insurance money due to you for your injuries blah blah blah...
