My wife's last rituals and the ultimate cremation were peformed very smoothly with no pressure whatsoever. I am pleased to the extent that I am prepared to do my own funeral arrangements with the same facility in advance.

Staff at Brown- Wynne Funeral were very helpful in explaining options available to us. I had met with a pre- planning staff member several months before and she explained the process. When my husband died recently, the staff was very professional as well as kind & caring. I felt no pressure from any of the staff. The supporting materials they shared with us were an invaluable resource & guide.We held the service at our church and they made all the arrangements about getting the ashes there & coordinating with the church staff.I would definitely recommend their services.

The history of Brown-Wynne Funeral Home and Crematory reaches back to 1836, when Henry Brown founded H.J. Brown Coffin House in Raleigh. Since then, five generations have done everything they can to make Brown-Wynne Funeral Home and Crematory one of the more complete mortuary establishments in North Carolina. Ours is the oldest business in the city and the oldest funeral home in the state. Tradition is very important to us, and yet we are always looking forward, adapting and caring for Raleigh’s families in unique ways.
