I went to koi hair salon to get some highlights on my really dark curly brown hair and ended up looking like a black and yellow zebra. i went to this salon the next day crying and begged for help and she said she wouldn’t give up till i liked my hair and was crying of happiness. My hair looks wonderful! I was so so excited when i saw my hair at the end of the session and she was so kind to let me come in without an appointment!! Highly recommend. Super friendly and lovely woman owns this place!

$45 haircut turned into $105?!?
My sister came into the salon and booked for a haircut ($45). She asked for 2in cut off, no layers or nothing - a simple trim. Went to the counter and she was charged $105!!!
As a hairstylist myself, I called to the front desk to ask them why she was uncharged. They said it was because she got it styled. (Flat ironed hair that was already straight)
At no point during my sister’s service was she given quotes, or was told there would be any additional fees.
The front desk just told me that my sister should’ve STOPPED the stylist in the middle of what they’re doing. As if she knew that there would be additional fees for styling??? (She did not ask for a blowout)
Normally salons charge $5 extra to use a flat/curling iron, so I’m not sure where the extra $60 in services came from?!?
Their Booksy states a haircut is $45, I assume that includes a haircut and not to walk out of the salon with soaking wet hair. But she was up-charged for services she didn’t get and was not aware of.
Do these photos look like this haircut should have been $105?!? Absolutely not.
As a salon professional, we are to be transparent with the guest if they get any services outside of what they had originally booked. We know what the prices are, not the guest so it’s our duty to keep guests informed throughout their service. This is price gouging at its finest. Especially for people like my sister who are non-confrontational, and don’t want to cause a scene at the front desk.

Honestly, La chama is the first person who has gotten my haircut request correctly, I’ve had to change hair salons in the past because they keep messing up but this time, it’s perfect she knows how to cut hair really good and if you show her a reference she will copy it exactly, she’s the best hairdresser I’ve been to and I highly recommend you to visit her hair salon, the prices are good too and the quality is amazing.

Best recommendation for military haircuts and women’s haircuts too, she is flexible in almost any style and I have received the best cuts from here. My wife and daughter have also visited this place and are satisfied with their hair highly recommended.

10/10 experience! I was nervous about getting my first relaxer (I have very curly hair) but Malena did an AMAZING job. She walked me through the steps of the relaxer, how to take care of my hair after the relaxer, and was overall very nice and supportive through the entire process! My hair has never been more healthy, smooth, or shiny! I will definitely return for all my hair needs!!
