I recently went to Oasis and had the pleasure of the owner Bonita to style my hair. I chose comb coils, I thought I was being too ambitious for choosing this style because of the shortness of my hair. Bonita excited this style to perfection it more than exceeded my expectation. I was moved to tears at the final results. My coils were so beautiful and neat. They lasted me neatly until I decided to wash them out. I will be returning again and referring others. I love the privacy and the knowledge of this professional, Bonita is a beautiful person inside as much as she is on the outside. Thanks for giving me me self confidence back. Thank you thank you!!!

I ordered a silk press and it was not pressed . It was more of a blowout , my roots were not silk pressed . I really waited a month before writing this review because I was thinking on the situation but after going to other places I just realized there was an issue . It took almost 5 hours just for a wash and silk press. The person doing my hair was already late but I gave the benefit of the doubt but then the lady didn’t know how to install my clip ins after stating she did , at this point I’m already sitting here for 4 hours and over this whole thing. Bottom line is time management will be the downfall of this establishment, the people are nice but this is a service and if it’s not done right then we shouldn’t be paying for it . Just putting this to warn people not to be mean . And also for advice . I hope this finds the reader well and is a learning lesson on things to work on . Have a great day !

I get my hair and daughters hair done here by several different stylists. I have been very pleased with the results. My hair is healthy, and my daughters hair is growing strong. I highly recommend them. I have been treated with professionalism. I have been late sometimes. But, they would work with me and let me reschedule my appointments. They took me when I couldn't find anyone available. Also it saved me time and a lot of running to Greensboro for hair care. Thank you!

This place gets two stars from me because my niece loved her hair but I waited a full 48 hours before writing this. This review is for a weekend appointment for my niece at this salon. As a new customer, I was not impressed and will not use them for my own hair. Time management seems to be an issue here.
I made an appointment for a Friday at 5:30 pm for my niece to have her hair washed, conditioned and trimmed before taking her home. Simple for an 8-year old post-summer camp. While on my way to the appointment on Friday, I see that I have a message from the salon saying that they were running behind and asked if I could come 30 minutes later, at 6:00 pm. However, the time shift didn't work for us because we needed to be somewhere else later that evening on time. So the lady offered additional time for Saturday. We took her up on it, rescheduling for Saturday at 11:00 am.
Well, Saturday at 10:40 am, I get a text from the salon asking if we could come at 11:10 because they were running behind. Ten minutes. We arrive at 11:05 am. My niece was still not in the chair at 11:45 am. Why ask me to come 10 minutes later, when you KNEW that appointment was going to take longer than that?! She didn't even come over to say, "Excuse me, this is taking a little longer than I expected..." I was actually expecting her to wash my niece and get her deep condition going so she could finish the other little girl's hair. But no. So I went to the stylist and asked if she would be done soon. She said confidently, "Five minutes." At 12:08 pm, she took my niece to the chair.
Now, in hindsight, I should've left after sitting there for 30 minutes waiting. She finished my niece's hair around 1:40 pm and had the nerve to come over and ask for full payment, which I immediately questioned. No apology from the stylist on being so late. No offering of a discount of any amount. She had to call someone - several times - to discuss the possibility of a discount and to help her add a discount to the payment system, which just made me even more hot. A lady comes over from next door, puts in the information, and the screen doesn't read as the discount price she mentioned previously. I was done.
Because my niece was there, and she loved her hair, I paid and left in a silent, but visible rage. I thanked the Lord that it wasn't a workday and wasn't an appointment for myself, because I would've been LOUD AND LATE. It was truly inconsiderate of my time and wasn't a good introduction as a new customer.

The Oasis is an Oasis! Arriving at The Oasis was a breeze. Parking was super easy. Walking past historic shops the salon greets you with a breath of contemporary charm. The decor and aesthetic is top notch! I immediately felt welcome and like I was at home just as soon as I entered the salon. The vibe was dope. The salon was clean, beautiful, and professional.After a couple of deep consultations with Tava and few weeks of following her guidance, my hair is thick and growing back after years of alopecia.Though I was there to see Tava, I found the other stylists were friendly, too.Oasis and Tava, thank you for being of service to the community. I look forward to my next visit!
