We have a very old house (100+ years) that was left empty for some time. Initially we hired a painter for the exterior that quit before finishing one wall. We hired another painter for $3200 and they finished the job in 3 days. My problem with them is that they didn't repair any rotten wood and they used sprayers getting paint all over our window screens and windows. Additionally the paint turned yellow in spots and quickly began peeling in the first year. When we received and estimate from Garners painting, we thought it was a bit high and even had to wait for a time to have enough money to complete the job.
