Not sure where to start. I haven't visited a hair salon in over 15+years, because I normally do my own thing with my hair, not having much confidence in anyone. However, I needed my hair cut and style, so I started surfing the internet, and came across Black Pearl. The reviews did it for me, so I decided to give Ms Tina a shot at it. I had been searching for a location that can not only style my natural hair but also teach me how get it healthy again. I'm Muslim so I also needed a place that was private. I never imagined I would find a place like this. Tina took her time to explain what I needed, and how to maintain it between visits. At no time did she make me feel uncomfortable or judged. There was zero pressure to purchase products. When I asked she said no. Send me pictures of what you have and I can see if what you have works. I promise not only did I leave out looking like a new woman I felt like one.

Requested style: My first time and she was so welcoming. First we started with consultation on my hair. She told my how to was and condition my natural hair at home. Then she started the process of deep shampooing and conditioning my hair and cutting my ends. She was awesome. And the style was is amazing. I absolutely love it and this will be my summer look. I’m thankful to have a new hair dresser. She gets 5 Plus stars all around.
