Lu saved my life! Literally. I thought I was never going to be normal again. After the COVID vaccine, something happened drastically to my body. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at 35. My physician prescribed me Metformin. My body kept rejecting it and I couldn’t hold it down. My sugar was running over 500 sometimes and it began really damaging my body. I was losing my vision. I kept getting kidney infections. Headaches were so bad that I wanted to just slam my head through a glass window. My doctor would not listen to me. The response was “You are going to have to take the metformin.” After I went through my 4th prescription in 2 months at the eye doctor, I knew I had to do something. It felt like it was slowly killing me. I went to see Lu a month ago. I had been doing E2M prior to that, but my blood sugar would get too low on that diet that I would eat everything in sight at the end of the day and it wasn’t working at all. My blood pressure was running high too! Lu started me on phentermine to get my energy back and started me on ozempic shots to treat my diabetes. I’m a month in! My last appointment I was down 10 pounds (8 pounds fat and 2 pounds muscle), my blood pressure was 105/63 and my blood sugar was 96. This morning, I was 14 pounds DOWN, and I have never felt better.
