I had a great acupuncturist in Knoxville and when I moved to Charlotte, I asked her to research and recommend someone in Charlotte. Within 30 minutes she found Wendy Swanson as they both graduated from the same college in NY, which meant I would have the same type of Chinese medicine based care that I am very responsive to. Wendy is extremely caring and listens so well. Due to my active lifestyle, my aches and issues are old, but I feel renewed after each session with Wendy. I started seeing Wendy back in January of this year for her acupuncture services. I couldn’t have imagined at that time how completely transformational my relationship with Wendy would become. I had a lot pain in my neck, the base of my skull, in my shoulders — I really thought that why I was there, for pain…maybe to relieve some long term trauma, if that was even possible. What I learned was that Wendy’s incredible healing powers not only alleviated much of my physical pain, but the softening of my armor and shedding of that old trauma actually revolutionized my life. I’ve struggled with tension headaches for a long time, and by seeing Wendy for acupuncture I’ve found a treatment that actually works. Wendy’s holistic approach and calm demeanor make each acupuncture session relaxing and relieve my stress and anxiety. I can’t recommend Wendy enough if you are considering acupuncture.
