Hilary came to a friend's and cut both our hair on the screen porch on a beautiful day, which we thought was a covid-safe option. She cut my thick wavy hair dry in about 20 minutes. it is shorter than I asked for, and very choppy, with botched layers and the bottom being uneven lengths- there is a difference from left to right, but also pieces that are dramatically longer or shorter as chunks. including some "thinning" that was chopped inches shorter than the layers and now just pokes out. Without exaggeration, the worst cut I have ever had. When I asked her about fixing it she made excuses, blamed me, and avoided me. Finally I got her on the phone and she was threatening, then said my only recourse, after days of my trying to communicate diplomatically, was to come to her house, which didn't feel safe anymore, and frankly, I no longer trusted that she had the skills to fix it. so I am have a truly awful cut, have been insulted, and am out the cost. If the platform allows, I will post screen shots of our convos and my hair so you can see for yourself, because I already know she will try to blame me, based on what she said on the phone.

I admittedly have always gone the inexpensive route with my hair, but with my wedding in three months, I knew it needed some real TLC before my big day. I found Hilary on Groupon and went to her for a cut and balayage on my thick, brown hair. Everything turned out AWESOME! I've gotten so many compliments on my lightened hair, and it has so much more texture now. And she did such a great job thinning my hair and fixing my layers, too. Not to mention, she was just generally easy to talk to and enjoyable to spend a couple of hours with. Thanks for giving me more confidence before my wedding, Hilary! I'll be back!

She has done my daughter's hair 4 or 5 times and she has has loved it every time! I've known Hilary as a friend for probably 23 years and I wouldn't recommend anyone in this city to get their hair done by anyone interested else's! Hilary is the best, By the way, love ya, Signed, Monty Harris!
