I am extremely pleased with my recent decision to change my elderly dog’s Veterinary needs from another local facility over to Island Pet. There are a number of reasons why I had to make this change. This hospital proved to be very organized, paid attention to details on my dog’s senior physical and cognitive needs and the appointment was on time with no walk ins to interfere with our planned appointment. Within one hour, in and out, my dog had been seen by the Vet and an assistant, he had a physical exam done, nails trimmed, senior blood panel and meds prescribed for his issues. Today presented a unique situation and the entire staff were kind and compassionate. I’m really at a loss for words, but know this, if you bring your pup to Island Pet you’ll get the utmost professionalism with the same degree of bedside manner. A paragraph can’t express my gratitude!
We moved back into the area and needed to set up our dog with a new vet. We also needed a speedy appointment because my dog’s vaccines were due. Island Pet Vet was super easy to get an appointment with and were very friendly and accommodating. At the appointment, the front desk receptionist was so friendly and welcoming, as was the nurse who immediately took us back! She asked lots of questions to get to know my dog better and was super forthcoming with recommendations for all of my inquiries. Dr. Ashley was super thorough and efficient! I was very pleased with the veterinary office and so was my fur baby!
