My experience was awesome the staff was amazing and I love each and everyone of them .Ms Lynetra is the Sweetest person i ever met she will go over and beyond her expectation . When you walk in the door you see that beautiful smile and the way greet you with it .. I love renting from Sunshine never had a bad experienced with them…

Sunshine took over my preexisting lease the denied me necessary repairs x 4 years resulting in severe habitability issues . They then placed the home on the market without notifying me - I woke up to a surveyor whom explained I should have been notified. When contacted by an outside agency in regard to these issues Sunshine feigned ignorance in regard to conditions (which I can disprove) then used my domestic violence status against me ( life-altering in-home attack) . While I was recovering from said attack they forced abatement in lieu of eviction ,citing calls to police for assistance, ultimately resulting in my family's homelesness. The office manager later laughed when I explained the domino effect their severe lapses in service had caused. They collected full payment for said property throughout the duration of our lease. They couldn't help me because I didn't make(My Income )3x the rent. I was told if I get more income,they could help me.? I was so disappointed. Plus, I lost my $40 application fee. I can't afford your rental property. But,yet they kept my $40. Ok.... Ma'am you just basically stated what I said. The duplex apartment was like around $950,I think. I gave you all information. I just couldn't afford your property according to your company. So,ok... people can't afford your property. But,yet you still keep there application fee. Like,they can afford to give you that. I know you're not the only company that does this. I've learned from this experience. God knows I have.

Terrible people to rent from, they are very judgmental and invasive to one’s privacy. I had my mother live with me in my first apartment and the neighbors were notorious complainers constantly trying to kick people out of their places and when they complained about my mother staying there the office lady implied I was lying about the fact she was my mother and simply bc of that wanted to not work with me. Never seen such disrespectful people in my life

This is a backward company. They won't take online rent payments. My GF has to put checks in the mail. Someone stole her last rent check from the mail and now she has to come up with more money. Would be a whole lot safer if Sunshine joined the real world and did rent online....

This company is ran poorly, answer the phone when they want to, they are very dishonest and does not tell the truth, they think they can go over the owners head and blame the owner for everything. All in all they are very dishonest people.

I am so happy with the response time when it comes to maintenance requests. Every time there has been an issue they have rectified the concern. They take care of the property and hire knowledgeable people to handle those requests. There has been a positive change since Sunshine has taken over as Landlords.

If there's any problems keep an open communication, make sure you put in work notices it's easy and they stay intouch to insure the property is being maintained and the job gets done. Almost 5 years as a tenant at one of the propertys, I can say I would recommend.

The people in the office were very nice and tried to help as much as they could in certain situations however "we are not in charge of that, or I don't know we don't handle that" seems to be a common answer. The property I rented has roaches and is not isolated well at all. Windows are not on track so they are no closed all the way leaving room for hot or cold weather and bugs to get in. Piping is not corked correctly so bugs are getting in that way as well. Windows were painted shut, electrical outlets painted over and2 exploded on my son when he tried to plug up his charger. I wouldn't rent from here again. The rent is too high to not be taken care of properly. You can tell they slapped bandaid on stuff just to rent the property back out quick and that's sad.
