This studio is absolutely a gem! I am not a dancer though I like dancing, and I am actually terrible at following dance instructions but I love the Yes Move classes here. You don't need to have any dancing experience. These classes are fun dance cardio classes with fun music themes instructors pick. They start with warm up and stretching, then about 40 minutes of fun cardio (I feel like it goes so fast, which is awesome), then some strength exercises and a final stretch. All the instructors and people at the front desk are lovely. If you want to learn more dance moves, you can take their Yes Choreo classes.
Such a fun way to get exercise. If you love to dance, you're good to go... you don't have to BE an amazing dancer, because it's a very friendly and welcoming space and they have plenty of classes that are good for all levels. I always leave Yes Honey feeling like I got good exercise yes, but especially it's the mental health boost that you get from connecting to good music and getting out of your own head that does it for me!
I’ve been twice for the Yes Move class and it is SO much fun! I hadn’t worked out publicly in years and felt really self conscious about starting to again, but this class is so relaxed, so fun, and no one cares what you look like or how good of a dancer you are. It brings me so much joy and I somehow manage to have a smile on my face the entire time.
