Some of the staff here are amazing people and are perfect at what they do. They will forever be marked as an incredibly important part of my journey/story and I’m forever greatful for them and what they have done for me.

I wouldn't send my dog there the nurses have bad people skills and they treat people like they are in prison

The nurses here are great. They do total care for patients while the cna's get away with doing nothing. The nurses have a full team on top of doing the total care so if you are OK with your nurse being stretched beyond what is safe then by all means go here. They are doing the nurses and also the aides jobs. It is acceptable for for certain cna's to treat patients like trash which is unacceptable to me. Also if your loved one is end of life they will not ensure that there is not proper medications to treat symptoms for your loved one which is extremely unacceptable. I have witnessed this and more.

My mother came here over the weekend. I have to tell the CNA’s to change her. They have not turned her q 2 hours like they are supposed to or nothing. The only great was an older gentleman who title is a respiratory therapist. I can’t get her out of here fast enough!!!!

I am a patient at Kindred healthcare. The quality inn care that the nursing staff and doctors have shown me is absolutely second to none. They have met my every need not only with consistency but with quickness. The CNAs in text are so kind that they bring a bright spot to my day every day when they come in to check on me. The physical therapist in the therapy helped me out so much that I really feel ahead of schedule in my healing process. I feel stronger everyday in my healing process with their help. They are so knowledgeable with what I need in the needs that will help me that is so helpful and I couldn't ask for much more. The doctors are so helpful that they make me feel comfortable and trusting. Case management is so on top of my needs and so helpful that I couldn't ask for much more.
Overall I give Kindred healthcare a five-star review and I would absolutely I would refer Kindred healthcare to anybody needing long-term healthcare or therapy.

Hello. This is the very first review I’ve ever left on Google and it’s sad it has to be one like this. My mother stayed with Kindred South for a few days before she contracted pneumonia. She was rushed to the ER and during them transporting her, they gathered her belongings at Kindred and “stored them in a safe room.” I contacted them the following day to pick up her belongings and they informed me they could not find them. I gave them an entire week to search their establishment, just to go up there yesterday and find out they’re still missing. I gave them my phone number and told them to call me if they hear anything, as they were supposed to speak to the night nurse that evening, who moved my mother’s belongings. It was a full 24 hours and they never reached out so I went back up there today, after calling up there 7 different times today and getting everyone’s voicemails, for them to inform me that they lost all of her stuff.. a worker threw her belongings away. There were some very irreplaceable items she had with her, such as a photo of her and my late father from Christmas of 1994.
Yes they offered to replace the phone but this is just a warning for everyone else. When your loved one gets transferred, MAKE SURE you go there before your loved one leaves the building because who knows what Kindred will lose of your loved one’s belongings too.

This place is terrible. They made lies up about me and banned me from seeing my brother who has an SCI. For his own well being concerns about me when I am not one hurting my brother; they are a few days later they are reporting he has bed sores to my parents. Who is the one that should be concerned about? Kindred! Never did anything but ask questions that where appropriate and about issues such as room smelling very bad and bringing up legit concerns. Some nurse affiliated with Mercy painted his fingernails pink without permission. Before I was banned my brother told me they were trying to kill him and roughed him up to make him bleed out his trac and he had to go to ER for a bleed. I did not deserve to ban just so they can get away with neglect / bed sores.
This place is on top floor and no quick way to get someone out on an emergency. Keep your loved ones away from this place at all costs is my advice based on what i have observed and lies made up to keep me away from keeping tabs on how my brother is doing.

The phone number provided for Follow UP below is not even a working telephone number.
