okay, I'll start by saying nurse Payton was the ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS HOSPITAL. She deserves a raise and a transfer to a better hospital. there is a reason this place has a 2.7 ⭐ on Google. run don't walk. stay away from this place. The doctor was a COMPLETE A-HOLE. And, the nurses are below par. my s/o came in with an extremely high BP. Acting drunk/completely out of it. Couldn't hardly speak straight. They got his bp down but, he's still OUT OF IT. The doctor (Dr Hutchins) came in for a solid 60 seconds, my s/o TRIED to let the doctor know something is still wrong... and I kid you not, the doctor CUT HIM OFF MID SENTENCE and said "you're here for blood pressure issues. None of that would affect that" and walked out, shut the door before anyone could say anything. Literally wouldn't even let him finish a single sentence. Wouldn't listen to his symptoms. And that was the only time he seen anyone 😬 and mind you, this place is EMPTY. Literally will never step foot in here again. I've seen sh*tty hospitals. But, this one definitely deserves a "sh*ttiest hospital award" Their slogan is literally "to be healthy is to be heard.. and we're listening" 🤣😬 IRONIC healthcare workers in this "hospital" need to step up. wouldn't recommend this place to ANYONE.
A few weeks ago I broke my hip after a fall and it had to be replaced. I'm usually a trooper after being through so much but this time I wasn't so sure it was gonna be easy. Dr. Hartel is an Angel! She found the break after my complaining two weeks. She sent me on to Mercy for the replacement surgery. The Surgeon was great but Mercy was an " experience" I'd avoid in the future. I was so happy to get transferred back to Wash Co for the last few days of care. Everyone there was GREAT! I had excellent care and felt strong enough to leave already. Nothing beats a home town hospital and caring professionals! Thank you all for all your help!
My daughter has been in the hospital for 3 Days waiting on transfer to another hospital in St Louis the nurses has been very caring and understanding. Dr Hartley very nice ,understanding and answered all my questions.
