I wanted to love COMC but they have failed to offer basic communication repetitively resulting in a literal near death experience for my disabled mom.
Dr. Warren left, we received ZERO communication on her exit, when I called to find out why some random insulin was at the pharmacy due to the previous one no longer being made there was no doctor to offer guidance. Dr. Warren dosed the insulin incorrectly and if it wasn't for my ability to thoroughly research the medication my mom would have had double the amount of insulin necessary in her system and would have died.
Dr. Bowman has now left (months ago) and once again ZERO communication from COMC. I had to find out after calling to find out why my mom's prescription refills were taking so long. My mom is severely disabled with very unpredictable symptoms so she doesn't know if she'll even be able to leave the house every day. She can't just randomly have a last minute appoint to establish new care which takes a 3 hour appointment in our experience with COMC (1:45 of that was just waiting on the doctor). She cannot sit for 3 hours and she needs months to prepare for an appointment yet she's expected to establish new care with a couple days notice because COMC has failed at basic communication. COMC is aware of all of this and I have to remind them almost every single time we speak. They still refuse to show basic respect to a disabled person.
In my communication with a receptionist yesterday to figure out what to do she interrupted me every single time I spoke even though I let her speak. I was frustrated but calm and after the 10th time of being interrupted I loudly said "let me finish." She then had the audacity to call me out for being disrespectful.
I am now waiting on a call from an "admin" to "see if we can work out a telehealth option" so my mom doesn't run out of the medications that keep her alive this weekend. What a wonderfully vague way to say "maybe we'll view your mom's life as something we care about and maybe not." I'm not expecting that call to happen so I will be calling every hour on the hour every day this week until this issue is resolved because, while your staff might not care if my mom lives or dies or has the accommodations she needs, I do.
COMC, you're a lawsuit waiting to happen. Replace whatever staff you need to, update policies, learn to communicate before you kill someone - if you haven't already.

I've been going to COMC in Osage Beach for over 6 years . I'd like to say the quality of care I have received is phenomenal. from the moment I walk in and register with these wonderful kind ladies to the nurses who are so very caring, to Dr Hainey. Dr Hainey is caring, concerned and spends time listening and answering questions in a way that the average person can understand. I just want to say thank you so much for being here for the patients .

I sing all the praises of comc! Grateful to have an affordable way to continue dental care. The techs are always timely! I genuinely feel cared for by the dentist. I was in and out in about 40 minutes, and had one on one attention the whole time.
Prompt! Attentive! Fresh & clean! Thoughtful exam!

I appreciate the NP Christie Atkins she always responds to my children which are special needs and she cares about health and wellness. She listens to the concerns of their needs and treats them with respect and to me this is quality care for them

~ We go to the COMC in Laurie.. Couldn’t be happier with the doctor and dentist we see they are the BEST.. Plus everyone who works there is always friendly and helpful.. Highly recommend this place.

My husband and I moved here 7 months ago from Arizona and we were blessed to find a amazing doctor at the Osage Beach location. The staff and nurses are very nice, caring and do their best to get you in for appointments and any other information you might need.
Thankful to have found Dr Ashley Warren and clinic.
