This is the first review that I have given on social media; I am compelled to give this review because of the outstanding care I received. of my experience at The Vein Center. Scheduling and communication was smooth, the office staff was knowledgeable, and my appointment started on time. Dr. Blumenthal was pleasant; he clearly explained all aspects of treatment for the spider veins in both my ankles. Like Dr Blumenthal, I am also a surgeon, and I was impressed with his great skill. Most of all, I am so pleased with the results. If you are contemplating treatment, you will receive outstanding care at The Vein Center.

Went in the other day and already pleased with results. I was cautiously optimistic/had managed expectations. I’m 41, and last few months began noticing that my cheeks were super pink—I called it clown blusher—and looking in a well-lit magnifying mirror confirmed that the pinkness was really several tiny broken capillaries. I did not have many, if any, of the darker, more obviously defined broken capillaries (which are actually supposedly easier to treat) but I decided to give it a try anyway. I had hope that they would at least fade enough for the pinkness to be covered with light makeup (I hate heavy foundation, and even the heavier kind or a green-tinted primer wasn’t working). I know I still have much time before I’ll see a final result, but already I have no visible pinkness while wearing light tinted sunscreen, and even makeup-free at this point I appear to have just a bit of a healthy flush instead of clown makeup. Procedure is not inexpensive, but if broken capillaries are really bothersome to you and you’re sick of buying expensive makeup to try to cover them, it’s worth a try! I found the pain to be next to nothing, but I’m sure everyone is different. Staff was friendly—no snobbishness or talking down here!
