We love taking our fur babies to Bass Lake Pet Hospital. We've been clients for over 5 years now and just love the people there. Dr. Engle is phenomenal and always takes the time to explain and make sure we feel comfortable with next steps if needed. I've never had a negative experience there.

Not only is this our usual clinic but the people that work here are beyond amazing. The kindness in their hearts is unmatched. On multiple occasions they have helped me in emergency situations even though they aren’t emergency vets. Yesterday my husband brought our little dog in after an attack they got him stable and saved his life before helping us get him to an emergency vet for surgery. He is now sleeping on my foot and thankful doesn’t even begin to cover how I feel.
THANK YOU to everyone yesterday that saw Gollum he is home safe thanks to your lifesaving efforts you are all amazing human beings.

We had a sudden episode with our elderly cat (18 years old). The people at Bass Lake were very understanding and worked us in and dealt with us and our cat in a caring and professional manner.

Twice in the last 6 months we have had to take our cat in for an urgent visit, and Bass Lake Pet Hospital has been able to squeeze us in and provide excellent care. We haven't been in a situation to shop around as these have been emergency visits so cannot speak to pricing comparatively, but it has been around $500-$600 for both visits which have included the visit cost, a service (one was to cut an infected claw and one was blood work), and medication.
