Dr. Henry Tong at Michigan Head and Spine is amazing. As well as the staff!! I have been to several doctors, regarding my knee and hip. I was told I was bone on bone and that shots or surgery was the only solution. Dr. Tong went over the X-rays taken and assured me that my issues was not a result of being bone on bone . The X-ray should gaps in between each other. Therefore, indicating I was in fact NOT. Physical therapy was ordered and I’m getting these knees and hip back on track!!! I am very appreciative and grateful ???!!

I saw Dr. Gilmer and her PA Olga. I felt comfortable with both, and Dr. Gilmer took the time to answer my many questions. Be prepared that Dr. Gilmer typically has long waits and is always running behind. She is worth the wait because she is the most skilled neurosurgeon for chiari decompression surgery. I also suggest bringing sun glasses and ear plugs for the lobby if you are pre-op because their lobby set up was triggering for my sensitive self. She completed my surgery at St. John's Ascension.
