Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Primary Care - Pinckney

I came in to check on stitches that were on my lip and the doctor I saw used his bare finger/finger nail to pull a scab off my lip to see if there were stitches underneath, then told me that it would probably be better if I did it myself. He is supposed to be a medical professional why would he ever ask a patient to do that and do this with no gloves on a fresh wound? The scab shouldnt have even been taken off, to me thats a clear sign it needs more time to heal. It had only been 5 days since I got the stitches. Not sure why there's so many negative reviews. I like this doctor's office. They communicate well, make appointments quickly, and paperwork and billing have always been super straightforward. The doctors and nurses have always kind and considerate.

I had an appt today. The technician who did my "vitals" seemed to not understand how to use the blood pressure machine so who knows if the reading is accurate. The technician also asked what my allergies were and I mentioned that they were in my chart and all she said was "ok".The nurse seemed to not understand why something wasn't written in my chart for a test I was given, well it was because that wasn't the reason I went in for the test, it was completely separate from what I went in for initially so they didn't write it down. She also seemed very confused as to what antibiotic to put me on. Luckily she saw in my chart my allergies.... read full review
