I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork. I got there and the paperwork took me 1 minute. It should be electronic (not paper) so I can fill it out ahead of time. I had a 1-hour deep tissue massage with Megan W. When she brought me back to the room, she reiterated what I had written down on the intake form. My goal was to get the knots out from my shoulders, back, and calves. After about 10-15 minutes, Megan asked me about the pressure. I said she could go firmer but I didn't notice a difference. I am beyond thankful that New Body Therapeutic paired me with Lauren, the most gifted healer I’ve ever encountered. On the first visit, she was able to unlock knots that usually take multiple sessions to work out. What’s more, she was able to do so without digging in like many masseuses do.
