If I could rate this no stars I would the director bob (older guy white hair) was awful me and my sister have never planned a funeral before and he acted like we were suppose to know what to do without any explanation of anything. He also asked us why we waited so long? (Almost a week) apparently that’s to long to decide to have a funeral. Sorry we were shopping around different places since Saturday the day she died. He did not sell us at all about anything.
Very disappointed! The preparation of my mother was excellent, no complaints with that. However the funeral director, a high school classmate, fellow East Detroit resident and someone I at least knew on an informal basis completed botched the rest of the funeral experience. My sister and I requested the eulogy be given at the Resurrection Chapel with the burial of my mother to follow. When we got to the Chapel, we were directed directly to the gravesite with the funeral director stating that we did not request the Chapel eulogy. My sister was with me when we made the request. Horrible service for my Mother. Bob doesnt care? Who closes a coffin early? Bob. Who lets final goodbye not by aisle but a free for all? Bob. Not one part was proper for my beloved Mom Caroline Yde Jolly farewell.
