They did such an amazing job! I did not feel stressed once on my wedding morning. I would recommend Jess to anyone - She delivered exactly what I envisioned, and made me feel so confident. Bailey and Elizabeth were also so gracious, introduced themselves to me, and were genuinely so excited to be a part of the day. They all made the morning go by so smoothly. Everyone looked stunning!

Sylvia (the owner) and Jaime came to Kensington Hotel, Ann Arbor (with no additional cost to travel) to do makeup and hair for my daughter's wedding. They both were absolutely wonderful to work with. They were on time and right on schedule for the bride and whole wedding party, plus myself (mother of the bride) and also mother of the groom. (Sylvia coordinated the timeline for everyone and it worked out great!) Sylvia was wonderful with makeup and had great ideas as well to those that don't normally wear much makeup. Jamie did our hair and was fantastic and had great ideas for all hair types. All the hair styles turned out wonderful. They both were so friendly to work with. All makeup and hair made it through a long, but beautiful day! You can tell they really enjoy what they do and they treat their clients fabulously! We used bridal beauty for makeup services on the day of our wedding -- Elizabeth did makeup for me, our moms and majority of my bridesmaids. Both the owner, Sylvia, and our makeup artist, Elizabeth, were wonderful to work with from the very beginning to the end! Elizabeth came to our location, showed up on time and was ready to start immediately. She brought all the makeup which made it very easy. She was easy to communicate with and did a wonderful job! She made me feel beautiful for my entire wedding day! :)

I came across Bridal Beauty Detroit while looking for make up recommendations in the area again and decided to check back and see if this company has improved and it clearly has not. I left a review after getting a hair and make up trial done, this was in 2013, and as someone else had mentioned.. my hair and make up looked as if I were a drunk grandma out of the 80s. It was so bad. It was caked on, sloppy, heavy uneven eyeshadow, just so poorly done it was astonishing. My hair was caked in hair spray and was flat to the top of my head, I knew it was bad but it wasn't until after she did my make up that I was in tears, and the woman who did it was so unpleasant. I'll never forget the experience and the owner could not have cared less. I see still many of the same reviews and noticed that my review from 2013 is missing, so I felt the need to repost.Services: Makeup services

Bridal Beauty was a perfect addition to my son and daughter in laws wedding. I've never had hair and make up done before. Wish I had a before and after photo. I was so impressed by Char and what she was able to do with my hair. It looked amazing and I got so many compliments. And Amy was amazing with my makeup. I don't wear much makeup so I was a little hesitant at first but Amy was so knowledgeable and knew exactly how to work with "mature" skin and my make up was perfect! My experience with, Bridal Beauty Detroit On Location Makeup & Hair, was amazing!!!! They were very friendly and kind. They did my 2 nieces hair and lipgloss (flower girls), my sister and stepmom’s hair and makeup, also a Per wedding look a couple months ahead of time, and myself (bride) hair and makeup the day of the wedding. Wasn’t worth the money…. I didn’t do the trial run but wish I did. I definitely would have tried somewhere else. She was nice but definitely didn’t get the bridal glam look I was hoping for. The lashes she put on me were to long for the shape of my eyes. She didn’t measure them before putting them on. They went past the outer corner of my eyes and made my eyes look droopy. She tried to trim the inner corner to make them more comfortable but not till after she put them on, which did nothing but make it worse and my eye water more. Even though I told her before she started that they bother me there and needed to be trimmed. She didn’t listen so it took up a lot of time for her to try to fix them. And I got so frustrated I kept walking away. Had to take them off half way through cause my eye was so red and started getting puffy from them poking me. The make up wasn’t anything special. We were running short on time so I understand my flower girls hair couldn’t be the way I wanted it, they put it in a pony tail and that would have been ok if it didn’t look so messy and sloppy. Definitely wasn’t worth paying 100.00 for her hair to get done. If I could do it all over I would have done a trial run and realized I should have went somewhere else… this company isn’t worth what you pay. I also see why they add the gratuity to your bill, they get a tip no matter how terrible of a job they do. If you want your day to be special and your hair and makeup done by professionals, someone that actually listens to you then my advice would be to go somewhere else. They take your money and then make up excuses on why things didnt turn out instead of admitting that they have employees that do not know what they are doing or are just not good at there job. We had 10 girls total, and they finished everyone on time, and hair and makeup held up all night. Only thing I would say made me a little nervous was how long the contract was. I was worried it was not going to go well and that is why she had such a long contract. Luckily everything worked out perfect, but this may deter some brides. My wedding day was 08/28/21 and i held off on my review so long because i been very upset about how her team ruined my big day. I will not recommend anyone to do business with Sylvia all she is interested in is to take your money and have the contract signed. The girls she sent over for hair and makeup were inexperienced. The makeup artist that showed came in with cheap 10$ makeup pallets and cheap foundation. Literally all of my girls including myself had to wipe off ours faces and redo our makeup with our own stuff. As far as the the hairstylist that was sent she had a bad attitude the whole time and did not listen to what the girls wanted for thier hair and to the point where i had to redo our hair through the day because our curls and updos wouldnt hold. When i talked to Sylvia a few days later about everything and explained i will like to have some type of refund she came off saying that it wouldnt be possible and her team did the best they could. ?♀️?♀️?♀️Services: Hairstyling
