I can't say enough good things about our experience, during one of the hardest times of our lives. From the very first contact with their care coordinators, I was met with genuine, patient, and thorough guidance about the process. When the day came, Dr Smith was both professional and compassionate; hardly feeling like someone our family had just met during such a raw moment. Thoroughly impressed and eternally grateful that our last moments with our boy were so special.

If you are reading reviews in your search for the most peaceful way to lay your loved one to rest, my heart is with you.

I cannot say enough good things about the kindness Dr. Smith showed our family, most importantly our dear Harley, in his final moments. She has a very calming and comforting energy. She explained everything so well, gave us time to ask questions, and walked us through all the steps when we were ready. She allowed us to grieve in private and the care she took gently tucking him in for his ride leaving our home for the last time was heartfelt.

I thanked her and she accepted a hug from me. She hugged me back - not the superficial hug I thought I might get but the kind of hug I really needed in that moment.

If you are fortunate enough to be able to welcome them into your home for this incredibly difficult part in your loved ones journey, do it.

My family will be forever grateful for the kindness, sympathy and comfort we received during the heart shattering loss of our golden eyed boy, Harley.

    With deepest gratitude,
    The Jangda Family

I cannot recommend Heaven at Home enough. From the very first phone call to the home visit, Dr. Amy and the Heaven at Home team were absolutely amazing. They handled everything with such compassion and empathy, making a heartbreaking experience as peaceful as possible. What meant the most to us was that they never rushed the process of saying goodbye. They even took the time to sit and talk with us, letting us share fun stories about our pup. It felt like they genuinely cared. If you are looking for a kind, supportive team to help your pet, please call them.

I believe the amount of 5 star reviews during the most devastating moment of people lives speaks for itself.
Dr. Smith is such a kind, compassionate, gentle person. I am absolutely blown away, she drove to me during a snowstorm for an emergency.
My sweet cat, my childhood pet who I had for 17 and a half years rapidly declined and I could not bare to watch her suffer as her body was in the process of shutting down.

Dr. Smith walked us through the process, reminded us of how she was feeling. My sweet girl was suffering for nearly 2 days- and I got the chance to see her finally get some rest when the first shot was administered. I will forever be grateful for Dr. Smith coming to the rescue- during dangerous weather to help my cat pass peacefully in her home and surrounded by those who loved her. I imagine that is one of the hardest jobs in the world. The amount of compassion and understanding Dr. Smith and the rest of the team showed me is something I will never forget.

Every single person who answered a phone call or a message was so understanding and kind. These people are some of the most amazing people, they will care and treat your pet as you would.

I have had great experiences in the past. The vet this time was very patient and took her time not rushing me. The only issue they forgot to make a ceramic foot print as requested. It is a mistake but it hurts. I hope they come up with a check and balance system so that does not happen to anyone else.

Queer-friendly, amazingly compassionate, and thorough end of life care. I will never say goodbye to our pets any other way.

I can not say enough how much my dad and I were so grateful and blessed by this service and the kindness and compassionate provided by Dr. Kim. She was so gentle and caring with our pet cat of 15 years. She truly made us all calm and our cat very comfortable and passed with such dignity. We were left feeling more at peace knowing our friend is resting peacefully. Thank you so much for helping us with a really difficult day saying goodbye.

It’s taken me a while to write this review because even as I’m typing this out, I can’t help but to cry thinking about my boy, but words will never be able to describe the kindness, empathy, gentleness, and overall incredible experience my husband and I had with Heaven at Home. What is just an awful event all pet owners must experience someday, I couldn’t have asked for better people to relieve our boy from pain. Undoubtedly we will always use them when we have the choice. Thank you to every one of the kind souls who work there.

Dr. Smith came by yesterday to help us say goodbye to our sweet boy Obie. As hard as it is to lose him, I can't imagine doing it any other way. She was very compassionate and gave us the opportunity to be with him throughout the process. It gives me peace of mind to know he passed with the ones who loved him most by his side.
