I've been going to Yolanda at the Alger Heights barber shop since reopening after the pandemic and couldn't be happier! Definitely a great spot and a local business you should give a try!

Yolanda at AHBS is outstanding in every way possible. A kind, professional, Yolanda is the first person in my life (and I'm not young) to cut my hair the way I like it on the first try! She is VERY talented, takes her time. I dare say a perfect haircut every time. 6/5 stars mean it.Service: Haircut

Yolanda is the only barber who can cut my sons thick hair well without showing finger lines or accentuating his natural cowlicks. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!Services: Straight razor shave

We are located in the wonderful, supportive neighborhood Alger Heights that has a great “small town” vibe although you do not have to live here to be welcomed. We service people of all ages 9 months to 99 and just about everyone that comes in are really great in their own ways. We do recommend setting up an appointment online, or call. Since so many of our clients schedule ahead it is not as easy to take ‘walk-ins’ but, you are welcome to try. We are hiring! Please send your resume.
