Victor is a true craftsman and did an excellent job sanding and refinishing all of the hardwood floors in our house. He took his time and explained every step of the process, including the care needed to maintain the floors after he’s done. We are thrilled with the results and marvel at how nice our floors look.

Victor is the absolute best from start to finish! Our entire upstairs was carpeted and we had the carpet ripped out and replaced with hardwood floors to match the hardwood floors on the main level. The process starts with an in-home consultation where Victor answers any and all questions. Once you hire Victor, there is nothing else to worry about. He is impeccable in his work. While doing this project, we were out of state and Victor went above and beyond to accommodate our absence. Victor checked in routinely, FaceTimed us to show us the floors, and sent picture updates every step of the way. He was an absolute pleasure to work with and we could not be happier with our new floors. Victor is SO knowledgeable and ensures that the final project is exactly what you envisioned. If we ever need to install hardwood floors again we would undoubtedly go with Victor. Cannot recommend him enough!

Victor did an exceptional job refinishing my hardwood floors. He refinished my living room, hallway, and all three of my bedrooms in a natural stain that complimented the color and grain of the floors. Some of the flooring was in pretty rough condition and Victor still made it look like it was brand new. I’m so pleased with how the floor turned out and it is my favorite part of my new home.
Victor was also great to work with throughout the whole process. He was always on time, responded to emails quickly, and provided regular status updates on the project. I felt like I could trust him and appreciated how easy he was to work with. Thank you Victor!!

Victor is an artist when it comes to hardwood floors. He puts a lot of thought into the project and not just tries to complete it. I invited him for a quote to replace carpets to put engineered hardwood. He cut open the carpet to reveal some quality oak floor that just needed refinishing, which he was excited to do.
He was also willing to take my suggestion that I wanted natural stain. We chose Bona and it came out beautiful. When he noticed a portion of the family room had damaged oxidized wood, he offered to install engineered hardwood. He also advised we need to continue that in the other nearby rooms to keep the flow of the wood. He waited over 2 weeks for me to receive the shipment and then finished the project. Whatever house he is working on, he is thinking what he would do if it was his own house. That’s rare. I would recommend him for any type of flooring services, installation or refinishing. See pictures of before and after. The first ones are before- dark and scratched up floors, sanded and refinished to light and bright rooms that showcases my red oak floors. Amazing transformation!

We selected Michigan Hardwood Floor Services for our custom home's wood flooring and the final product exceeded our expectations! Victor, the owner, is a real craftsman and it was clear he takes pride in his work. I was particularly impressed with his installation. No home is perfectly square, and he took the time to measure and align the different sections so there were no super small boards on the boundary. He used glue where necessary and the floors are silent! Plus, we had a section with a herringbone inlay surrounded by brass trim and it was executed flawlessly.
Hardwood floors are expensive but Michigan Hardwood Floor Services’ price was fair and an excellent value. It was great to work with Victor directly because he also performed the work and I think that helped set clear expectations. He was always professional in our interactions and maintained a clean job site.
I would highly recommend Michigan Hardwood Floor Services to anyone looking to invest in a quality hardwood floor!

Michigan Hardwood Floor Services went above and beyond our expectations. We did not refinish our floors for a number of years because we dreaded the thought of all the dust our friends have experienced. The dustless sanding process used by Michigan Hardwood was true to its word. The process taps into the dryer vent and there is minimum dust! My husband and I were even in the house the entire time the initial sanding was being done. The end product was beyond our expectations.
We have Brazilian Cherry floors that were faded beyond repair in our opinion. Victor took off the initial layer and we were shocked that the fading was gone and the try color of the wood was revealed. The end product was amazing . Victoria was very easy to work with. Highly recommend!!
