    Love Catie, just moved here a year ago and I took a chance on one day and tried the Day Spa. So glad I did!!! Catie, is an excellent hair artist. Proficient in Updo’s, hair cuts, nails, ect. She listens to what you want, & produces. She is very educated on the latest products & hair health, she knows her trade. She has transformed my hair beautifully. Would give her 20 stars if possible.
    I am super particular about my hair, Catie is the only one allowed near it. 😊 You will not be sorry, book it!

    I’m an out of town one time visitor of Gemini salon and I am so happy I chose them for my wedding hairstyle. My niece was getting married nearby and I needed someone to style my hair for the big day. I got paired with Lisa and she was wonderful. She did an amazing job and I got so many compliments on my hair! My curls held up all day and night and still looked great the next morning. Thank you so much Lisa!!

    I got a last minute appointment with Morgan today and she was so wonderful! She's so gentle and considerate, she took excellent care of my long hair with kindness and patience! I had a trim and she took extra care with my wash and style!

    Sydney is great. She cuts hair wonderfully. She even will cut kids hair and did a great job calming nerves during the first ever hair cut of my 5y/o and my 3y/o.

    Initially I liked my nails, Morgan took her time and made sure I was happy with them. My problem lies in the fact that they started to chip and then chunks came off within a week. I’ve never had this happen. I tried to contact them to notify them (no response) maybe the polish needs to be changed out, I’m not sure. Expensive for nails that don’t last. I would have physically went back to show them but sadly I do not live in the area.
    Update: no one cared to respond to me, essentially 70$ to ruin my nails

    i had went to gemini to get my hair done, they had dyed it and trimmed the ends, i had asked for curtain bangs and i walked out with pure bangs, i walked out sobbing and i was sitting in the chair sobbing, she had asked me what i was looking for and i wasn’t sure about it, i do understand that was confusing but if she didn’t know what she was doing then she should not have put the scissors to my head. both sides were very very uneven and poorly portioned. i had to have my sisters friend that is in cosmology school to come to my house and fix it, she also gave my some tape in extensions to hide the butcher on the side of my hair. after she left i was a little more happy with my hair, she made it way better because at first it looked like a straight cut across, i have long hair so the chop in the front and then all my long hair does not match. they had charged $160 for the dye, cut. i understand the price for the dye but once my mom went back in because i was in the car crying they gave $10 back. i had also gotten my ears peirced and the had to take my left one out and re-Pierce it. they had used what looked like amazon piercing guns, i had 3 infections with the cleaning solution they had given me aswell. i was upset leaving this salon because they had also messed up on my mom and sisters hair. very upset with my experiences with gemini, not very good at confrontation.

    Highly Recommend this wonderful salon & day spa. Everyone is so kind and professional. Beautifully decorated for Christmas & so a welcoming. Definitely returning. ❀️

    I'm reaching out to the public because I'm feeling stunned and in shock right now because I had a terrible experience with this salon today. This incident started last Friday when I went in and spoke to one of the hairstylist that have taken care of me on many occasions about needing some waxing done before I go on vacation. I had let her know that I'm struggling right now financially and was wondering if I could get a coupon or a discounted price. She informed me that she would give me a call after she spoke to the person that does that particular waxing and I told her thank you. Today I had reached out explaineing my concern and frustration with not ever receiving a call back and wanted to speak to the owner. The receptionist said the owner could call me back. I had let her know that I would call the salon back before she left because I had somewhere to be. I happily surprised when the owner ended up calling me back promptly. I had spoken to Tharisa and let her know what had occurred last Friday and how it made me feel. She has also done me hair in the past and I been going to Gemini for years so I felt comfortable addressing my concerns. Instead if apologizing or making another suggestion to help me she had cut me off and got defensive feeling like I was attacking her buisness and had than told me she was going to help me out but now would not and finished by saying, "I hope you have a nice vacation" and hanging up the phone. I was very upset and left feeling like she had in turn just validated my feeling of feeling disregarded and unimportant. If I was critiquing and insulting her buisness would I really have been a repeat customer? She didn't let me finish my explanation and just assumed that I was putting her ownership skills down. As a buisness owner she should know that every customer has a right to call and express any kind of concern. I personally don't think every customer is right but they do have a right to be respected and heard. She didn't do that. I want to feel like I matter when I pay for a service. This is not a cheap salon either but I kept going back because I liked the environment and people but now I will have to look elsewhere because of what happened. I wasn't wrong and I only ask that Tharisa think about how she reacted and think about her customers needs. If she only knew what I'm going through right now maybe she would have been compassionate and understanding. If she really intended on helping me don't you think she should have mentioned that in the beginning instead of going into the reason why I probably didn't get a call back. It's upsetting and very convenient. Now I have to go far to find a place that knows what proper etiquette means. ?

    I am SOOOO excited I found my lash artist, Lisa Porter. I was her client for two years at the Brighton Deka Lash location. When she left, it took LOTS of investigation to find her. I am so fortunate I was able to locate her at the Chelsea, MI Gemini Salon & Day Spa. I was a mess for over six weeks!

    Finally, I have been able to get the quality services of lash extensions and brow lamination as before. Lisa is a perfectionist and would never let me leave unless I was 100+% satisfied. She always goes beyond my expectations when I see her. I look forward to having new services done at Gemini. See you soon, Lisa!
