My experience when I joined the Genesis team in 2015 is family, and I use the word "Family" because I feel that is what it is, and still is. As a Home Manager when I go to the Leadership meetings the people in that room are caring, dedicated individuals who care about the needs of the home they manage.The Home Managers always have the needs of the people they care for and the needs of the staff as their number one priority. The Home Managers work together to coordinate game nights, holiday parties, as well as community activities. It's so encouraging to see. It helps me grow as a manager myself. Genesis is an amazing company. They are great to the employees giving care and to the person receiveing care. Genesis truly cares about their staff and the people that they take care of. You have to go through some extensive training before you can beigin working with the people they care for. I work for Genesis in-home Care and would recommend them to anyone who needs care or knows of someone that needs care. I would also recommend them to anyone looking for a career where you can make a difference for some very special people that are just looking to fit in and be accepted.
