You can tell that the workers at the specialty clinic truly love animals. I am so grateful that we took my cat Nelson here because I left feeling so much less scared about our plan to treat his cancer. The oncologist Dr. Mason is honest, highly experienced, empathetic, and passionate about her work, and I am so thankful that we got a vet like her who seems to genuinely care about what she does. I feel secure knowing that she will be honest with us about his health, but I also feel relieved knowing she will make sure he gets the best care possible. I had to visit in the last 24 hours for an ultimately terminal situation, which is a worst case scenario for any pet owner. Despite my being at my worst, and all the incredibly difficult cases these folks see every day, they were at their best and did everything they could do support me and my cat. I am beyond thankful for the dignity, kindness, compassion, candor, and love they showed me and Piper every step of the way. It’s a tragic day in our family, but we are confident there was no better team to try to support our loved companion. Dr Stone in particular was beyond compassionate while also maintaining a very direct and honest approach. You have our deepest thanks.
Dr. Shoelson is fantastic and has helped us diagnose and manage our dog’s advanced liver issues. He’s been honest and realistic about setting expectations for our dog’s prognosis from day 1 and he has explained every step of the process with us. We are so thankful for the awesome care our dog has received from everyone at PVESC.
