Very disappointed in the care provided during emergent treatment needs.

Receptionists were annoyed to schedule appointments. It took 3 calls to even get in the door. And afterwards when we were considering ER vets, they were rude and argumentative about transferring our cats information from the visit with them to the ER vets we were considering. And that we “should just go to the ER Vet that was already called as they were expecting us”. Respectfully we said we would consider that ER Vet and were provided a 3 page list of potential ER vets, so kindly do not tell us where to take our animals when we are still considering.

Tech mishandled our cat. Who is usually very cuddly. She now runs when she sees someone trying to give her attention.

Doctor was relatively reasonable and probably the only person we would say provided moderately decent advice. Minus jumping to the most emergent case scenarios off the bat.

The cost was absurd. One xray cost 330$.

The ER vet we went to afterwards only cost 107$ for 2 X-rays and medication to induce vomiting. Max would have been 214$ if we hadn’t transferred from vet.

Recently switched here from Banfield, Airpark is AMAZING. When calling you get straight to the front desk, they get you in quickly, they greet you with smiles, the waiting room is spacious and clean, as well as the exam rooms. And Dr.Hawksworth takes her time to thoroughly go over the animals care and a care plan for the future.

I entrusted Airpark Animal Hospital with the euthanasia and aftercare of my 18-year-old dog, who was truly like a child to me. From the beginning, I very clearly and repeatedly stated that paw prints and hair clippings were extremely important to me. My sister and my father also reiterated these requests multiple times. We were reassured repeatedly that these wishes would be honored.
Airpark informed us that they outsource cremation services to Agape Pet Services in Boonsboro, MD, and that I would receive a time-sensitive email with a direct link to select paw prints and memorial options. I waited patiently the following day for this email, but it never arrived. I emailed Airpark to confirm I hadn’t missed it and received no response.
By Friday afternoon (my dog was euthanized Wednesday evening and picked up Thursday), I called the office due to growing concern, knowing time was critical. The receptionist stated she had no knowledge of any email and told me I would not be receiving one, and that I should “just go online” to order what I wanted. This contradicted everything I had been told previously and made no sense, especially given the urgency.
Because I was emotionally overwhelmed, my sister called to clarify and was told the same incorrect information. Thankfully, she persisted, independently found Agape Pet Services’ contact information, and contacted them directly. With only five minutes to spare before cremation, Agape was able to place my dog on hold so I would not permanently lose the opportunity for his paw prints and memorial items.
    Airpark later admitted:
The email had been sent to the wrong address
They never followed up to confirm I received it
They did not know how to contact Agape in case of emergencies
They had never actually communicated directly with Agape regarding my dog
Agape Pet Services themselves acknowledged the seriousness of the situation and informed us they would be retraining Airpark due to this incident.
Throughout this process, Airpark offered no meaningful sympathy, no accountability, and no acknowledgment of the emotional harm caused. At one point, it was stated that the situation was “no longer their problem.” The dismissiveness, lack of urgency, misinformation, and poor coordination during one of the most vulnerable moments of my life caused immense distress and completely eroded my trust.
This is a profession that demands empathy, communication, and responsibility. When families are grieving, mistakes like this are not minor — they are devastating.
I would strongly caution anyone considering Airpark Animal Hospital for end-of-life care. No pet owner should have to fight this hard to ensure their loved one is treated with dignity.

Consistently friendly and knowledgable. And at the time of a per’s passing they all sign a card of condolences at a time when you hear of others not even getting a signed card or a paw print. Seems trivial until it happens to you.

These are some really kind great people. Definitely trust your dog coming here they are in good hands. I don’t usually leave reviews so this place really stood out to me. My dog had a swollen wrist and couldn’t put any weight on it limping everywhere they took me in 10 mins or less didn’t have to wait for hours and had him in and out X-rays and helped my dog very nice to him. It’s also around thanksgiving im pregnant and money is tight, they were able to break down costs for me before doing anything to my animal to make sure everything was affordable for me. 10/10 5 stars had to leave them a review

It's hard to say if the staff here lack the ability to communicate, simply do not want to communicate, or if they are hiding something by way of lack of communication. The staff here is nothing short of cruel and callous. I'm wondering if this is new ownership, because this isn't the experience we had years ago. I highly suggest avoiding at all costs, if you love your pets find care that loves your pets as well. Airpark does not and will not care about the wellbeing of you or your animals.

As far as I can tell, their great, but pricey. First visit though, and waiting on bloodwork results.

My husband and son had to rush our 4-year-old black lab to the emergency vet, and sadly, we found out his kidneys were shutting down. There was very little that could be done to save him. It was one of the hardest and most heartbreaking moments our family has ever faced—but the veterinarian and nurse who cared for our sweet boy were truly incredible. Their kindness, compassion, and genuine care made such an unbearable situation a little easier to get through.

They treated our sweet boy with so much love and dignity, and they showed the same compassion toward my son and husband —especially my son, who was devastated to say goodbye to his best friend. The staff went above and beyond in every way, not only emotionally but also practically. That kind of understanding and empathy is rare, especially in emergencies, and we will never forget it.

Because of the way they cared for both our beloved dog and our family, we’ve decided to transfer all of our pets to their care. I can’t recommend them enough—they are truly special people who care more about the well-being of animals and the hearts of the families who love them than anything else. Our family will forever be grateful.
