We were thoroughly impressed with the ease of working with Calvin and SMERF! Their inventory and pricing were extremely professional, and they were especially thoughtful in timing the delivery and pickup of their equipment in order to setup and test before our event. Our technician Adam was knowledgable and more than prompt --- it couldn't have gone better.
My event went extremely smooth because of SMERF Events. From the beginning, Calvin talked me through what made the most sense for my space, and gave me multiple quotes so I could choose what worked best for me and my budget. Every time I asked a question he handled his response with professionalism and care, knowing this was my first time contracting AV needs. Then event day came. Adam came in, set everything up, checked all the mics for no feedback, and talked me through simple troubleshooting. I chose SMERFEvents after a lot of research online, mainly because they are local to me and had an easy request form on their website to submit. I needed lighting for our school auction and I can't praise them enough for the quick response and turnaround, and their amazing customer service. They were able to provide what I needed (up lighting for the gym) and delivered when they said they would (same with pick up), and took the time to show me how everything worked so I could set things up later that day. Super helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely use them in the future and highly recommend them to anyone looking for lighting and AV services for events.
