I have been taking my cats to APAW since I moved back to the DC area in 2018 and I could not have asked for a better place to care for my cats as they aged into seniors. My cats had a variety of health issues including kidney disease/failure, arthritis, skin dermatitis, heart disease, etc and each time I bought my cats in for care I was educated on my cats health issues, had all of my questions answered, advised of treatment options they could provide and when to seek more specialized care (dermatology, cardiology, etc). I could not be more satisfied with the care my Lhasa Apso receives from this team. This is the only vet clinic he's been to since we've had him and every interaction has been wonderful. The staff is caring and accommodating to our needs. I'm truly thankful to have them as a resource when it comes to the health of my son.
Took my new kitten here after a great experience with the vet comprehensive exam of my senior dog. But I didn’t feel like they took as much time examining my kitten, they also didn't give any advice for being a new cat parent, or ask if i had any questions (which i had tons). He was a stray and I wasn't sure what health conditions he was in. They had me fill out a pre-appt form, but it didnt seem to have reviewed it at all as I listed some concerns on that paperwork and the doctor didn’t take a look at any of those until I pointed them out at the end of the visit..
