We hired Brent Paquin Design Build in the Spring of 2017 to build a house for us on a lot we’d purchased in St. Michaels, MD. Brent met with us right away and quickly--and masterfully--adjusted one of his existing designs incorporating exactly what we requested. By December of the following year, we were excited to have our beautiful waterfront home ready for occupancy. He and his team were extremely professional and working with them was great. Paquin came highly recommended for the construction of our new home and they did not disappoint. I interviewed 5 builders and Paquin really stood out. My initial conversation was with Adam Goertemiller, General manager, whose genuine interest in what it was that I was trying to accomplish got my attention right away. He invested a lot of time to make sure he fully understood what we wanted, what we did not want, and he provided a thorough review of their construction process as he wanted to be sure that it aligned with our expectations. From the beginning of designing my custom house, Paquin responded with enthusiasm and assistance. Every request of mine was discussed with intelligence, and accomplished wherever possible. I am very pleased with the workmanship throughout. Everyone I dealt with at Paquin was professional and productive. I especially want to commend Matt Lockwood, the job supervisor, for juggling all of the tasks and the workmen with extreme good grace. I cannot imagine going through the process without someone like Matt.
