Kathleen was so kind and patient when I brought my 85 year old mother in to see her. Kathleen thoroughly explained the ins-and-outs of nutrition and taught my mom to how to make the best food choices going forward. Her knowledge and expertise were invaluable!

Kathleen Tabb was a critical part of my recovery. I had an emergency medical procedure that affected my GI system. I was given very broad instructions upon discharge from the hospital about what to eat, but I felt a bit lost. Kathleen was able to make specific recommendations based on my current situation and steps to take to improve it. She helped me reach my goals with nutrition so I may not further complicate the procedure and also help my body heal. As I made progress and we had follow up sessions she was able to continue to help me add various foods to my diet in a manner that would not add distress to my digestive system. Her expertise truly had a huge difference in my journey toward better health!

I reached out to this business after finding out they offered sports nutrition, however, they told me after our 3rd meeting they didn't offer meal planning, nor did they want to help me with supplements even though it's displayed as a service on their website. In addition, the Dietitian I was assigned to said it would take time out of his day to create a meal plan for me which I was offended by. I will be reporting this business to Blue Cross Blue Shield and I suggest people look elsewhere for sports nutrition.

Candy in Columbia MD & Sierra in Greenbelt are bad business dealings and Candy has shown full blown discrimination in a workplace also Sierra harassing new hires trying to date them instead of training them! This place needs a serious wakeup call and they are very unprofessional. The dietitians are great tho! Candy looks at certain race backgrounds differently and feels they cannot be as equip as her own race! Candy is a liar, theif and a hazard to anyones safety especially being pregnant and emotional at this time! I ran out the door! I suggest a heavy investigation on both party's!

I was very impressed with my initial visit with Kathleen. She was very knowledgeable, informative, and asked a ton of great questions that ultimately covered the questions I had before I even needed to ask them. I felt heard and understood and was given many things to implement upon wrapping up our appointment. Having tangible steps to take and a provider who was helpful and well-informed left me feeling hopeful about getting my symptoms under control for the first time in months.

My father was diagnosed with Stage 4 chronic kidney disease in 2021 and was referred by his nephrologist to Rebecca Bitzer & Associates. He was scheduled with Rachel Brown and he has been a client since May 2021. All of his appointments have been virtual due to COVID. Initially, we met after every visit with the nephrologist, but reduced visits after his lab results became more stable. Rachel wanted to still be involved, so she recommended to still send lab results to monitor his numbers as well. Rachel has been nothing short of outstanding. She is kind and compassionate. In the early visits, she helped to refine my father's diet. She was so encouraging and helpful in her recommendations. She never made us feel that his diet was atrocious. She helped us start where we were and build upon his current plan. Amazingly, her adjustments were useful and easy to incorporate. She listens and cares about my father's overall health encouraging him to be mobile and as active as possible. She cares about the whole person. At 91, he always says, "I'm doing pretty good for an old man!" Today, was our first virtual appointment since October 2021 and it was like reuniting with a good friend. Rachel is a blessing and we are so grateful for all her help in improving my father's quality of life.

They couldn't help me with my food sensitivities, but they gave me some advice.

Probably a great place for individuals looking for a nutritionist for general reasons, but as someone with an eating disorder, their methods they insisted on made me uncomfortable and didn't meet me where I was. I wanted to be encouraged to eat and led in the right direction, not to be scolded for not eating. To clarify, I did not have any in-person appointments. I only exchanged emails and had a phone call with them, but decided their resistance to flexibility in the pace of treatment was too intimidating for me.I hope this helps others and maybe changes the practice's approach for fearful potential patients.
