Please note my hobby is going to graveyards to visit historic graves. I also admire the victorian area moments. With that said I seen alote of things. Today 12/30/24 I was with my family for a funeral. It was the first time ever going to this graveyard. It was the most disgusting and unprofessional ran places I ever seen. First the grave markers was bent like something ran over them. The bronze markers was bent and in some cases the marble under them was cracked in the middle as if ran over with a heavy machine .The grave site I was at was so uneven I felt like I was drunk look at it. The boards was so uneven with the lower device leaning so bad the funeral director made a comment when placing the coffin on it to be careful. To help level the boards around the grave the ground keepers used a bronze flower holder and placed it under the boards. I have pictures if you want to see... The graveyard employee was rushing the family. The service was to start at 11 with the hearse arrving at 1030. When the hearse arrived the employee wanted use to line up. I explained to him the service starts at 11. He continued to push for us to start. It wasn't to I told him that the preacher did not arrive yet. Then he waited but had the hearse leave the grave site and to wait at the gate. After the service he keep coming up to the family telling them they needed to start the interment. He was told to wait by a number of family again felling rushed. If you have any family at this graveyard you may want to check on the graves. If you find the markers damaged have them replaced it. If I had the money I would move my family out of this place. This place has no respect for the family, the deceased, or the the graveyard looks.
