- 9430 Lanham Severn Rd, LanhamKlotz Institute of Karate is an awesome experience for all ages. The instructors and owner are great, very positive, patient, and pleasant. They know everyone. The mixture of martial arts is interesting and useful. It is self-paced but encourages progress. Students learn self-confidence, leadership, maturity, patience, strength, coordination, balance, discipline, body awareness, and friendship. Summer camp is a lot of fun. It is highly recommended.
First and foremost, this staff is great. I love the small class sizes, especially for the pee wee classes. I appreciate that they understand the age they’re instructing and are patient, because abilities and attention spans vary across ages. I love that they’re also affordable and have added some cool events to the calendar like parents night and day camp for when school is closed. My kids have been coming her for 2-3 years now and will continue to go.
We have been at Klotz Karate for 5 years and it has been an AWESOME experience! The mixture of martial arts has kept things interesting and more useful for real life. My kids have been going here for years and love it! The instructors are great. They have taught my kids patience, body awareness, and raised their confidence. They attended summer camp this year and had a lot of fun. I recommend classes here for all ages.
